Position Details:

• Full-time employment (Monday-Friday schedule)
• Practice locations include; 95% at Ball Memorial Hospital and 5% outreach at Jay County Hospital
• Work-life balance with On-Call: 1:5
• 25% Inpatient / 75% Outpatient
• Team: 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Providers
• Patient Volume: Individuals can expect on average 100-150 procedures per month
• Procedures include: upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy, band ligation, RFA, esophageal motility, ERCP/EUS/Stents and others depending on skill set
• Teaching residents, lectures, adjunct faculty appointment, limited drug trials
• Generous Sign on bonus available (amount dependent on length of commitment and initial base salary)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
• Internal Medicine residency
• Fellowship training required in Advanced Gastroenterology
• Eligibility for or possession of Indiana medical license
• Visa sponsorship available

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as a level 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center. Over the last decade, the hospital has undergone a $130 million remodel. Since the early 1980s, physicians and staff members have been actively involved in national and international medical research studies, particularly in the areas of oncology, cardiology and coagulation.
