Which companies sponsor visas for sales specialists in Indiana?
Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Cummins, and Zimmer Biomet are among the Indiana employers with established visa sponsorship programs relevant to sales roles. Larger manufacturers and life sciences companies in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne tend to sponsor more frequently than smaller regional firms, particularly for enterprise or technical sales positions requiring specialized product knowledge.
Which visa types are most common for sales specialist roles in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for sales specialists in Indiana, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as engineering, life sciences, or business. Candidates from Canada and Mexico may also qualify under the TN visa for certain sales roles tied to qualifying professional categories.
How to find sales specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate lets you filter visa sponsorship jobs specifically by role and state, making it straightforward to find sales specialist openings in Indiana without sifting through listings from employers who do not sponsor. You can identify which Indiana companies have filed Labor Condition Applications for sales roles, giving you a practical starting point for targeted applications.
Which cities in Indiana have the most sales specialist sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the majority of sponsored sales specialist positions in Indiana, driven by its concentration of life sciences, technology, and financial services employers. Fort Wayne and South Bend also see sponsorship activity, particularly in manufacturing and industrial equipment sales. Bloomington, home to Indiana University, occasionally produces opportunities tied to ed-tech and healthcare-adjacent sales roles.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for sales specialist visa sponsorship?
Indiana's manufacturing and life sciences industries often require sales specialists with technical product expertise, which strengthens a specialty occupation argument for H-1B purposes. Employers in these sectors have longer LCA filing histories, meaning public DOL disclosure data can help you assess which companies have sponsored similar roles before. Candidates near Purdue University sometimes find pipelines into industrial and pharma sales sponsorship roles in the region.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales specialist jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
