Which companies sponsor visas for team leads in Indiana?
Eli Lilly, Cummins, Salesforce, Rolls-Royce, and Roche Diagnostics have all sponsored visas for team lead roles in Indiana. Large manufacturers and life sciences firms tend to have established HR and legal infrastructure to manage sponsorship. Distribution and logistics operations tied to Amazon and FedEx also generate team lead openings, though sponsorship frequency varies by facility and role classification.
Which visa types are most common for team lead roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for team leads in Indiana, particularly in engineering, technology, and life sciences. L-1A intracompany transferee visas apply when a candidate is already employed by a multinational with Indiana operations. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. O-1 visas are less common but relevant for candidates with demonstrated exceptional achievement.
Which cities in Indiana have the most team lead sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis concentrates the majority of sponsored team lead positions in Indiana, driven by its technology sector, pharmaceutical industry, and corporate headquarters. Fort Wayne has a strong manufacturing base with several global companies sponsoring roles there. Columbus, Indiana is notable for Cummins' global operations, which regularly support international hires into team lead and supervisory positions across engineering and operations functions.
How to find team lead visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by state and role to surface team lead positions in Indiana where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing job postings that rarely disclose sponsorship intent upfront. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on roles relevant to international candidates, so the results are pre-filtered for your situation.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for team leads seeking visa sponsorship?
Indiana's prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules are generally lower than coastal tech hubs, which can make sponsorship more financially accessible for Indiana employers. The state's manufacturing and life sciences concentration means team lead roles often require hands-on operational experience rather than purely technical credentials. Purdue University and Indiana University also supply talent pipelines that employers are accustomed to supporting through OPT and eventual H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored team lead jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
