In this position, you’ll play a key role in optimizing processes, enhancing safety, and driving continuous improvement across the shop floor. Responsibilities
- Prepare and update operator procedures for shop floor.
- Address daily production related issues on shop floor.
- Research and design systems related to continuous improvement.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
- Coordinate with external customers on shop floor related issues.
- Develop and maintain process layouts for existing or new processes and equipment.
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
