Which companies sponsor visas for account executives in Kansas?
Koch Industries and its subsidiaries, Spirit AeroSystems, and Cerner (now Oracle Health) have sponsored work visas for sales and account management roles in Kansas. Overland Park-based technology and financial services firms also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as H-1B visa sponsors for account executive positions, particularly where the role requires a specialized business or technical degree.
Which visa types are most common for account executive roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for account executives in Kansas, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. The O-1A is an option for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in sales or business development. TN visa status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories.
Which cities in Kansas have the most account executive sponsorship jobs?
Overland Park and the broader Kansas City metro area on the Kansas side account for the largest share of account executive sponsorship activity, driven by technology, financial services, and healthcare companies. Wichita is the second significant hub, particularly for account executives serving aviation manufacturing and agriculture supply chain clients. Topeka sees smaller but consistent hiring from government contractors and insurance firms.
How to find account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Kansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search account executive openings in Kansas without sorting through roles that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces positions from employers with documented sponsorship history in sales and business development, which saves significant time when you are evaluating opportunities across Overland Park, Wichita, and the broader Kansas City corridor.
Are there state-specific considerations for account executives seeking visa sponsorship in Kansas?
Kansas employers sponsoring H-1B workers for account executive roles must meet the Department of Labor prevailing wage requirement for the specific occupation and metropolitan area, which differs between Wichita, the Kansas City metro, and smaller markets. Candidates from universities like the University of Kansas or Kansas State University on OPT may have an easier initial path to employment, giving employers time to evaluate sponsorship before committing to an H-1B petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account executive jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
