Which companies sponsor visas for product associates in Kentucky?
Louisville-based employers are the most active sponsors for product associate roles in Kentucky. Humana, one of the state's largest employers, regularly hires for product and operations positions and has a documented history of H-1B sponsorship. Kindred Healthcare, Tempur Sealy International, and Yum! Brands also maintain product teams in the Louisville metro and have filed for work visas on behalf of qualifying candidates in product-adjacent roles.
Which visa types are most common for product associate roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for product associate positions in Kentucky, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may be eligible for the E-3 visa, and those from Canada or Mexico may qualify under the TN visa category under the USMCA, if the role aligns with an approved occupation list.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most product associate sponsorship jobs?
Louisville accounts for the majority of product associate visa sponsorship activity in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and large healthcare and consumer goods employers. Lexington is a secondary hub, with University of Kentucky spin-offs and regional tech companies contributing some product hiring. Smaller markets like Bowling Green and Covington have limited product associate roles with sponsorship history.
How to find product associate visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find product associate visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky. The platform filters jobs specifically by sponsorship eligibility, so you can browse open product associate roles at Kentucky employers who have sponsored visas in the past without having to research each company individually. Focusing your search on Louisville and Lexington will return the most relevant results for this role type.
Are there state-specific considerations for product associates seeking sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky does not have state-level visa or work authorization programs, so federal H-1B rules govern sponsorship requirements statewide. Product associate roles in Kentucky's dominant healthcare sector, particularly in Louisville, often require demonstrating that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. University of Louisville and University of Kentucky graduates on OPT or STEM OPT are a visible part of the local product hiring pipeline, which has made some local employers familiar with sponsoring international candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product associate jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
