INTRODUCTION
The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes and assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Typical hiring salary for this position is $52,000.00 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, master’s preferred.
- 2 years as a collegiate athletic trainer preferred, preferably at NCAA Division I level. Graduate assistantships and internships will be acceptable years of experience.
- Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards.
- NATA Certified.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Previous experience using independent judgment and managing and imparting confidential information required.
- Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds required.
- Ability to travel, normally requiring a valid driver’s license.
