We are seeking a Field Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance across construction and engineering projects. This role will manage quality plans, conduct audits and inspections, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure project deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain project quality management plans, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Review subcontractor quality plans, procedures, and inspection reports.
- Track nonconformances and corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor quality metrics and report findings to project leadership.
- Lead quality meetings, provide team training, and promote continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and operating units to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Identify process improvements and share best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in quality management within construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Experience with quality management systems, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Advanced Procore experience, including project quality and administration.
- Knowledge of applicable quality codes, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Understanding of critical path scheduling and inspection/testing programs.
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- 7+ years of experience supporting EPC, Design-Build, CMAR, or power delivery projects.
- Experience in engineering design quality, construction quality management, or equipment manufacturing surveillance.
- Quality auditing or inspection certifications.
