Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Master routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids—think of yourself as a detective uncovering the stories hidden in samples! You'll leverage both manual techniques and cutting-edge laboratory instruments to get the job done.
- Keep quality at the forefront by ensuring consistent, reliable results and taking charge with corrective and preventive actions when needed. Your attention to detail makes all the difference!
- Jump into exciting applied research and development projects that introduce new technologies and innovative methods—be part of the team pushing laboratory science forward.
- Build and maintain rock-solid standard work practices that keep our laboratory running like a well-oiled machine, setting the gold standard for excellence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an accredited bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or other sciences.
- Three (3) years of experience with progressive responsibility in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform, teach, and lead laboratory functions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification at the technologist or medical/clinical laboratory scientist level from a nationally recognized agency, such as ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW.
