Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inspection and testing procedures.
- Monitor construction for defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support quality management systems, audits, and project-specific QA plans.
- Conduct shop visits and factory acceptance testing.
- Investigate failures and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical preferred; Civil/Structural acceptable)
- QA/QC experience in power generation or industrial environments
- Knowledge of inspection/testing procedures and construction standards
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Self-motivated, organized, and strong communicator
- 3–7+ years’ experience preferred
- Certifications (optional but preferred): CQE, Lean Six Sigma, Quality Auditor
Work Environment:
- Onsite with PPE required (hard hats, safety glasses provided; steel-toe boots required)
- 40-hour workweek, 7:00–8:30 AM start, ~10% travel (reimbursed)
