- Perform routine maintenance by lubricating, cleaning, and repairing tools and equipment as needed.
- Assist skilled trades personnel—such as carpenters, concrete finishers, or equipment operators—by providing necessary materials and tools.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery and materials.
- Measure and mark construction layouts as directed.
- Support building weatherization and site preparation tasks, including installing temporary insulation, applying weatherproofing materials, or erecting enclosures.
- Participate in cold-weather concrete pouring by preparing the area, confirming equipment readiness, and ensuring site conditions are suitable for curing.
- Remove worn or damaged materials, clean work areas, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
