The Educator-in-Residence (EIR) Program Evaluator will provide strategic analytic insight grounded in rigorous quantitative research and methodology to the Mississippi Department of Education Chief Academic Office on the EIR Early Childhood Program.
Responsibilities include:
- Design quantitative and mixed-methods studies using quasi-experimental, longitudinal, and observational designs to investigate program effectiveness and policy-relevant questions.
- Partner with program offices to develop analytic strategies and methodologies that support systematic study of the EIR Early Childhood Education Coaches program.
- Design measurement instruments, observation protocols, and scoring frameworks to support the systematic collection and analysis of data.
- Develop and apply statistical models, including multivariate and regression methods, to investigate factors associated with program implementation, educational outcomes, and system-level trends.
- Translate complex statistical analysis into clear, actionable findings for agency leadership, program staff, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Provide consultation and training to program offices, as well as, methodological leadership and technical oversight, for E analytic and research activities.
