Which companies in Missouri sponsor visas for operations analyst roles?
St. Louis-based companies such as Centene, Edward Jones, Emerson Electric, and Mercy Health have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for operations analyst and related analytical positions. In Kansas City, Cerner (now Oracle Health), Hallmark, and various logistics and financial services firms have sponsorship histories. Reviewing publicly available Department of Labor LCA disclosure data is the most reliable way to verify a specific employer's sponsorship track record.
Which visa types are most common for operations analyst jobs in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for operations analyst roles in Missouri, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in fields like business, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or information systems. TN visa status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain analytical roles. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT can work while an employer initiates H-1B sponsorship.
How to find operations analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search operations analyst roles in Missouri without sifting through positions that don't sponsor. Focus your search on St. Louis and Kansas City, where healthcare, financial services, and logistics employers post the most operations analyst openings. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship history, which helps you prioritize companies with a demonstrated record of filing for this role type.
Which cities in Missouri have the most operations analyst sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis accounts for the largest share of operations analyst sponsorship activity in Missouri, driven by its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in healthcare and financial services. Kansas City is a close second, with strength in logistics, technology, and consumer goods. Columbia and Springfield have smaller but active markets, partly supported by university-affiliated healthcare systems and regional manufacturing operations that occasionally sponsor analytical roles.
What should international candidates know about operations analyst roles in Missouri specifically?
Missouri does not have state-specific visa processing requirements, but operations analyst roles here skew heavily toward healthcare IT, supply chain, and financial services, so candidates with industry-aligned degrees and experience tend to be more competitive. Several Missouri employers draw from local university pipelines, including Washington University in St. Louis and University of Missouri, meaning campus recruiting can be a practical entry point for OPT-eligible candidates seeking sponsorship transitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations analyst jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
