Which companies sponsor visas for service and sales representatives in Montana?
Visa sponsorship for service and sales representatives in Montana is most common among larger employers with national or international operations. Billings Clinic and other regional healthcare networks have sponsored workers for medical equipment and pharmaceutical sales roles. Energy companies operating in the Bakken and Powder River Basin regions, along with agricultural technology suppliers, also appear in federal LCA disclosure data as sponsors for technically specialized sales positions.
Which visa types are most common for service and sales representative roles in Montana?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for service and sales representatives in Montana, particularly for roles tied to healthcare technology, industrial equipment, or agricultural services where a specialized degree is required. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying sales engineer or technical services roles may also be eligible for the TN visa. Roles that are primarily generalist sales without a required degree field are less likely to qualify for either category.
Which cities in Montana have the most service and sales representative sponsorship jobs?
Billings is the primary hub for service and sales representative sponsorship in Montana, driven by its concentration of healthcare, energy, and distribution employers. Missoula sees activity in technology and healthcare sales, partly connected to the University of Montana's research ecosystem. Great Falls and Bozeman are smaller markets but have seen sponsorship activity in agricultural technology and software sales as both cities attract growing employer bases.
How to find service & sales representative visa sponsorship jobs in Montana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to browse service and sales representative openings in Montana without sorting through roles that don't sponsor. You can search by job category and state to surface positions from employers who have a documented history of filing LCAs or H-1B petitions for sales and client services roles in Montana's healthcare, energy, and agricultural sectors.
Are there state-specific considerations for service and sales representative visa sponsorship in Montana?
Montana's economy is heavily tied to agriculture, natural resources, and regional healthcare, which shapes which service and sales roles attract visa sponsorship. Because the state has fewer large corporate headquarters than coastal markets, sponsorship is more concentrated among a smaller set of employers. Prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B apply at the county level, and Montana's rural geography means wages for comparable roles can differ across Billings, Missoula, and smaller markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service & sales representative jobs in Montana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
