Which companies sponsor visas for data contributors in New Hampshire?
BAE Systems in Nashua, Oracle Dyn in Manchester, and Dell Technologies have sponsored work visas for data-related roles in New Hampshire. Larger defense and aerospace contractors along the Route 3 corridor tend to have established immigration programs, making them more likely to support H-1B visa or other visa sponsorship for qualified data contributors than smaller startups.
Which visa types are most common for data contributor roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data contributor positions in New Hampshire, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, information systems, or statistics. Some positions at research institutions affiliated with Dartmouth College may also be eligible for J-1 visa or O-1 visa classifications depending on the scope of work.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most data contributor sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua account for the largest share of data contributor sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. Manchester functions as the state's primary commercial hub with growing technology and healthcare data sectors, while Nashua hosts a dense cluster of defense and technology firms. Concord, as the state capital, also sees occasional openings tied to government contracting and public sector data initiatives.
How to find data contributor visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles that offer visa sponsorship, making it easier to identify data contributor openings in New Hampshire without sorting through positions that won't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant opportunities at New Hampshire employers, including technology firms in Manchester and defense contractors in the Nashua area.
Are there state-specific factors that affect data contributor visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since DOL wage determinations are based on gross compensation benchmarks that may look different net-of-tax here than in neighboring Massachusetts. Dartmouth College's proximity in Hanover also creates a research pipeline for data-focused talent, and some roles tied to federal contracts may carry additional security clearance requirements that can complicate visa sponsorship for certain applicants.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data contributor jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
