Which technology companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Hampshire?
BAE Systems, Oracle, Dell Technologies, and Segue Technologies are among the New Hampshire employers with documented histories of sponsoring Green Cards for technology workers. Defense contractors with facilities in Nashua and Manchester file regularly through the PERM labor certification process for software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and systems engineers. Smaller software firms in the southern tier also sponsor, though less frequently than large federal contractors.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most technology Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Nashua and Manchester account for the majority of technology Green Card sponsorship activity in New Hampshire. Nashua's concentration of defense and aerospace technology firms drives consistent PERM filings, while Manchester's broader tech and professional services sector adds volume. Bedford and Portsmouth have smaller but active tech employer bases. The southern corridor generally offers the most opportunities due to proximity to Boston's talent and employer networks.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Software engineers, cybersecurity analysts, systems architects, data engineers, and IT project managers are the roles most commonly sponsored for Green Cards in New Hampshire's technology sector. Positions at defense contractors frequently require security clearances, which can affect sponsorship timelines and eligibility for foreign nationals. Roles requiring a specialized bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or engineering are well-suited to the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories.
How do I find technology Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers looking for visa-sponsored roles, including technology Green Card jobs in New Hampshire. You can filter by state, visa type, and industry to see employers actively hiring and sponsoring permanent residency. Because Green Card sponsorship requires significant employer investment through the PERM process, focusing on larger technology employers and defense contractors in Nashua and Manchester increases your chances of finding genuine sponsorship opportunities.
Are there any state-specific considerations for pursuing Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire's technology sector?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects compensation negotiations but does not impact the federal Green Card sponsorship process. A notable proportion of technology employers in the state hold federal contracts, meaning positions may require security clearances that are generally unavailable to foreign nationals who are not yet permanent residents, effectively limiting sponsorship options at those firms. Candidates should confirm clearance requirements before applying to defense-linked technology roles.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card technology jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
