ROLE: Business Analyst (Wholesale lending)
Location: Jersey City, NJ / Irving, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days in week)
Duration: Fulltime
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders
- Lead to formulation of strategies processes for Product Road map Development and Governance and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives
- Develop communication to guide influence and convince others including colleagues in other areas and external customers
- Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources
- Work among a team of committed individuals to solicit and document detailed and thorough system and function requirements BRD including various workflows to enhance business technology platform
- Transition requirements to QA teams across multiple global regions and assist in identifying test scenarios and work with business users to execute UAT conduct business user training and manage technology implementation
- Deliver material presentations to Senior Management and application owners and apprise key stakeholders with project health
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools
- Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs
- Superb analytical written and verbal communication skills
- Technical skillsets to query and analyze data through SQL and excellent with Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint products
- Experience with wholesale credit risk or wholesale lending transactions a plus
- Experience with loan origination and securitization process
- LoanIQ experience a plus
