Which companies sponsor visas for sales operations managers in New York?
Large technology, financial services, and media companies are among the most active sponsors for sales operations manager roles in New York. Firms like Salesforce, Oracle, IBM, and major Wall Street institutions with dedicated sales organizations have documented H-1B sponsorship histories. Advertising technology companies concentrated in Manhattan's Midtown and Flatiron districts also sponsor regularly for this role given their complex, data-driven sales structures.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations manager roles in New York?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for sales operations manager positions in New York, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates from Australia may use the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa. L-1 visa transfers are also used when candidates are relocating within a multinational company.
Which cities in New York have the most sales operations manager sponsorship jobs?
New York City, particularly Manhattan, accounts for the overwhelming majority of sales operations manager sponsorship positions in the state. Midtown and the Flatiron District host dense concentrations of SaaS, fintech, and media employers. Brooklyn's tech corridor and Long Island City have grown as secondary hubs. Buffalo and Rochester see occasional openings tied to regional offices of larger national employers, but volume is significantly lower.
How to find sales operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for sales operations manager roles in New York without sorting through positions that don't support work authorization. The platform surfaces employers with documented sponsorship activity, which is particularly useful in a competitive market like New York City where many postings don't clearly state sponsorship status upfront.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for sales operations manager visa sponsorship?
New York City's local labor market commands prevailing wage determinations that reflect one of the higher cost-of-living regions in the country, which affects the wage levels employers must certify on Labor Condition Applications for H-1B positions. Candidates should also be aware that New York's concentration of large enterprises means many sponsoring employers have established immigration processes, while smaller startups in the city may sponsor less frequently or have less predictable timelines.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations manager jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
