Which companies sponsor visas for business systems analysts in Ohio?
Several large Ohio employers have consistent H-1B sponsorship histories for business systems analyst roles. JPMorgan Chase and Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Village, and Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this occupation. Large healthcare systems including Cleveland Clinic and Ohio Health also sponsor analysts who support clinical and operational technology platforms.
Which visa types are most common for business systems analyst roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business systems analysts in Ohio, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Australians may also pursue the E-3 visa through Ohio employers. Candidates already holding L-1 status through a multinational employer transfer or O-1 status for extraordinary ability represent smaller but viable pathways.
Which cities in Ohio have the most business systems analyst sponsorship jobs?
Columbus accounts for the largest share of business systems analyst sponsorship activity in Ohio, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and technology companies. Cleveland is the second-strongest market, particularly in healthcare IT and manufacturing systems. Cincinnati attracts demand from consumer goods and logistics firms. Dayton has a smaller but present market tied to defense contractors and aerospace supply chain companies.
How to find business systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search business systems analyst roles in Ohio without manually screening out employers who don't sponsor. The platform surfaces positions from companies with documented sponsorship activity in this occupation, which saves significant time compared to applying broadly. Filtering by Ohio location on Migrate Mate will show you active openings across Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and other markets.
Are there any Ohio-specific considerations for business systems analyst sponsorship candidates?
Ohio's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B business systems analyst positions are benchmarked to local metropolitan area data, so Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati each have different wage floors set by the Department of Labor. University pipelines from Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve, and the University of Cincinnati produce a steady supply of candidates, meaning employers in this state are generally familiar with the H-1B process for this occupation. Sponsorship timelines remain consistent with national norms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business systems analyst jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
