Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for hardware, software, and network issues within the warehouse environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems related to computers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Assist users with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Manage help desk tickets efficiently by documenting issues, tracking resolutions, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting
- Maintain user accounts through Active Directory management and enforce security policies via GPO (Group Policy Objects)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates, perform hardware replacements or upgrades, and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles within a warehouse or logistics setting
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems; familiarity with macOS and Linux is a plus
- Experience supporting computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners
- Ability to diagnose software issues related to operating systems and applications using help desk systems and analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels of technical proficiency
- Familiarity with Active Directory management and customer support ticket management tools
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, DNS servers, and firewall configurations
