RICHARD (RDS) is currently seeking an I.T. Technical Support Specialist.
Position Summary:
RICHARD is seeking a self-motivated, conscientious individual with 5+ years of experience for immediate full-time employment opportunities as I.T. Technical Support Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to help desk tickets and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Configure and deploy new computers and laptops for new employees
- Issue replacement computers for existing users as needed
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Performing routine maintenance and system upgrades
- Setting up user accounts, passwords, and permissions
- Training users on basic software and hardware usage
Job Requirements:
- General Desktop Support
- Problem-solving
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows, iOS, Android, and networking
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices
- Customer service experience
- Hardware & Software installation, configuration & troubleshooting
- Active Directory Management
- MS Exchange Admin and Support
- Attention to detail
Work Environment:
This position will be primarily performed from RICHARD’s home office located in Beaumont, TX, but may require travel to project sites, when required. Field site visits may be required periodically.
