INTRODUCTION
What started in 1989 as a family-owned video rental store grew into a trusted partner dedicated to helping libraries thrive. A single suggestion to sell VHS tapes (remember those?) to public libraries inspired our founder, John Eldred to start Midwest Tape LLC – and set our mission in motion.
Fast forward to over 35 years later, we provide libraries across North America, New Zealand, and Australia with innovative products and equitable access to content. Backed by a passion for exceptional service and a deep understanding of library needs, we fuel libraries with unparalleled access to top-tier media content including physical media (audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and read-alongs) as well as our digital platform, Hoopla Digital.
Hoopla, available on iOS, Android, and desktop, combines our decades of media expertise with modern technology to deliver an all-in-one experience for libraries and their patrons. With one of the strongest catalogs in the digital library space, Hoopla empowers libraries to reach patrons wherever they are.
We proudly partner with our library partners and content providers to strengthen communities through access to educational resources and entertainment experiences. Which companies in Ohio sponsor visas for partnerships associates?
Technology, healthcare, and consumer goods companies have the strongest sponsorship track records for partnerships associates in Ohio. Columbus-based employers in fintech and SaaS, Cleveland health systems and financial firms, and Cincinnati multinationals like Procter and Gamble have filed work visa petitions for business development and partnerships roles. Consulting firms and large enterprises with dedicated partnership functions tend to sponsor more consistently than smaller organizations.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships associate roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships associates in Ohio, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding L-1B or O-1 status through prior employers may also transfer into partnerships roles. Australians may pursue the E-3 as an alternative pathway outside the H-1B lottery.
Which cities in Ohio have the most partnerships associate sponsorship jobs?
Columbus concentrates the highest volume of partnerships associate opportunities in Ohio, driven by its growing tech sector, startup activity, and the presence of large employers headquartered there. Cleveland offers roles tied to healthcare systems and financial services firms, while Cincinnati's corporate base supports partnerships functions within consumer goods and professional services. Dublin and other Columbus suburbs also host regional offices with sponsorship capacity.
How to find partnerships associate visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles and lets you filter partnerships associate jobs by state, including Ohio. Rather than sifting through listings that don't address sponsorship at all, Migrate Mate surfaces employers with active or historical sponsorship activity. Filtering by Ohio and the partnerships associate role type gives you a targeted list of opportunities relevant to your visa situation.
What should international candidates know about partnerships associate hiring in Ohio?
Partnerships associate roles in Ohio typically require demonstrated relationship-building and business development skills, and employers sponsoring visas generally expect candidates to qualify under the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Ohio's prevailing wage requirements apply to sponsored positions, meaning the offered role must meet Department of Labor wage levels for the relevant occupation and geographic area. Candidates from universities in Ohio's strong business programs, including Ohio State and Case Western Reserve, sometimes have existing employer relationships that facilitate sponsorship conversations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships associate jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
