Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for business systems analysts?
Intel, Nike, and Precision Castparts are among Oregon's most active H-1B sponsors for business and systems analyst roles, based on Department of Labor disclosure data. Portland-area technology companies such as Daimler Trucks North America and a range of fintech firms also file LCA applications for analyst positions regularly. Sponsorship activity is concentrated in the Washington County tech corridor around Beaverton and Hillsboro.
Which visa types are most common for business systems analyst roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for business systems analysts in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1B status through an intracompany transfer are also placed in analyst roles at Oregon's multinational employers. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analytical positions.
Which cities in Oregon have the most business systems analyst sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the largest share of business systems analyst sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters and regional offices. The Beaverton and Hillsboro suburbs form a secondary hub anchored by Intel's large campus, which regularly sponsors analysts across IT and operations functions. Salem and Eugene see limited but occasional sponsorship from state government contractors and university-affiliated organizations.
How to find business systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters business systems analyst roles in Oregon by employers with a documented sponsorship history. Rather than sorting through general job listings, you can focus on companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for analyst positions in the state. Searching Migrate Mate by role and location gives you a targeted list without the noise of postings from employers unlikely to sponsor.
Are there state-specific considerations for business systems analysts seeking sponsorship in Oregon?
Oregon does not impose state-level licensing requirements on business systems analysts, so the sponsorship process follows standard federal H-1B procedures. The prevailing wage for analyst roles in the Portland metropolitan area is set under DOL wage surveys and tends to reflect a competitive tech market, meaning employers must meet those thresholds in the Labor Condition Application. Oregon's large Intel presence also means the state has a well-established pipeline of international hires through university partnerships with Oregon State University and Portland State University.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business systems analyst jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
