Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for business systems analysts?
Texas has a strong base of employers that sponsor visas for business systems analysts. Major sponsors include Dell Technologies and NXP Semiconductors in Austin, AT&T and American Airlines in Dallas, ExxonMobil and Shell in Houston, and USAA and H-E-B in San Antonio. Defense contractors such as Raytheon and Lockheed Martin also hire business systems analysts and have established sponsorship processes.
Which visa types are most common for business systems analyst roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business systems analysts in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, or business administration. The L-1B intracompany transfer visa is also used by multinational employers with Texas offices, particularly in the energy and technology sectors.
Which Texas cities have the most business systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs?
Dallas and Houston consistently generate the highest volume of business systems analyst sponsorship jobs in Texas. Dallas draws demand from finance, telecom, and healthcare companies, while Houston's energy sector and medical center create strong demand for analysts who bridge business and technical operations. Austin's tech sector has grown significantly, and San Antonio sees steady hiring from financial services firms and federal contractors.
How to find business systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters job listings by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical for finding business systems analyst roles in Texas. You can search by location to focus on Dallas, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio and identify employers actively filing for sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces positions from companies with a documented history of sponsoring candidates in this role.
Are there any Texas-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for business systems analysts?
Texas has no state income tax, which influences how employers structure compensation packages, though this does not directly affect prevailing wage obligations under H-1B rules. The state's concentration of energy, defense, and semiconductor employers means many sponsoring companies are large, established organizations with dedicated HR and immigration teams. Texas universities, including UT Austin and Texas A&M, produce graduates who often pursue sponsorship through OPT and H-1B pathways in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business systems analyst jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
