Search Sales Operations Manager Jobs in OregonSales Operations Manager Jobs in Oregon: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for sales operations managers?
Portland-based technology and software companies are among the most active sponsors for sales operations manager roles in Oregon. Employers like Daimler Truck North America, Viewpoint Construction Software, and various SaaS-focused firms have sponsored this type of role through H-1B visa petitions. Nike in Beaverton and Intel in Hillsboro also maintain sponsorship programs for operations and strategy positions within their large corporate structures.
What visa types are most commonly used for sales operations manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for international candidates hired into sales operations manager positions in Oregon. These roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA, which covers management consultants and certain business roles without requiring a petition process.
Which Oregon cities have the most sales operations manager visa sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the majority of sales operations manager sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology companies, financial services firms, and corporate headquarters. The Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro to the west, extends the hiring pool significantly through Nike and Intel. Eugene and Bend see occasional openings but represent a much smaller share of sponsorship activity compared to the Portland metro.
How to find sales operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for this search, letting you filter sales operations manager roles in Oregon by visa sponsorship status. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces positions from employers with a documented history of sponsoring international candidates, which is especially relevant for this role type in a state where tech-sector demand is concentrated in the Portland metro area.
Are there any Oregon-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for sales operations managers?
Oregon has no state-level visa or work authorization requirements beyond federal standards, but the concentration of sponsoring employers in the Portland metro matters practically. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon produce graduates who enter the workforce locally, meaning employers are accustomed to a pipeline that includes international OPT candidates transitioning to H-1B status. Sales operations roles at Oregon's larger tech employers tend to sit within structured HR systems that have established sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
