Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for analytics managers?
Several large Texas-based employers have consistent track records of sponsoring work visas for analytics managers. These include Dell Technologies and NXP Semiconductors in Austin, AT&T and American Airlines in Dallas-Fort Worth, and ExxonMobil and Shell in Houston. Amazon, Google, and Microsoft also operate significant Texas offices and sponsor analytics talent through H-1B and other work visa categories.
Which visa types are most common for analytics manager roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for analytics managers in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as statistics, data science, computer science, or business analytics. Candidates already holding L-1B or O-1 status sometimes transition into analytics manager roles as well, and some employers also sponsor permanent residency through EB-2 or EB-3 petitions for longer-tenured staff.
Which cities in Texas have the most analytics manager sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads Texas for analytics manager sponsorship activity, fueled by a dense concentration of tech companies and high-growth startups. Dallas-Fort Worth follows closely, with strong demand from telecommunications, financial services, and retail analytics teams. Houston rounds out the top three, particularly within energy sector companies that maintain large data and analytics functions. San Antonio has a smaller but growing market tied to cybersecurity and healthcare analytics.
How to find analytics manager visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters analytics manager roles in Texas by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sifting through listings that won't support your immigration needs. Searching by role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces employers in Austin, Dallas, and Houston that have filed H-1B petitions for analytics positions, giving you a targeted and efficient starting point for your job search.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for analytics managers pursuing visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects how employers benchmark total compensation when meeting Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions. The state's large university system, including UT Austin, Texas A&M, and Rice University, generates a significant pipeline of international analytics talent that major employers actively recruit. Analytics managers with experience in energy data, supply chain analytics, or financial services tend to find the strongest sponsorship opportunities given Texas's dominant industries.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored analytics manager jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
