Which companies sponsor visas for client partners in Texas?
Enterprise technology and SaaS companies are the most consistent sponsors for client partner roles in Texas. Dell Technologies, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft all have significant Texas operations and documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories. Large consulting firms including Accenture and Infosys also sponsor client partner positions, particularly in the Dallas and Austin markets where enterprise software sales teams are concentrated.
Which visa types are most common for client partner roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for client partner roles in Texas, particularly for positions requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field tied directly to the job duties. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may explore the TN visa under the business activity category, though eligibility depends on the specific role requirements and employer documentation.
Which cities in Texas have the most client partner sponsorship jobs?
Austin and Dallas lead Texas for client partner sponsorship opportunities. Austin's technology sector, anchored by companies like Dell, Apple, and a dense concentration of SaaS startups, generates consistent demand. Dallas hosts major enterprise software and consulting offices, including SAP and Accenture, making it the second-strongest market. Houston sees client partner roles primarily within energy technology and industrial software companies.
How to find client partner visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical for international candidates to identify client partner roles in Texas without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can narrow results by state and role type to surface positions from employers with active sponsorship programs. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on roles where sponsorship is part of the hiring conversation, which is particularly useful for competitive markets like Austin and Dallas.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for client partner visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations under the H-1B Labor Condition Application process since DOL uses metropolitan area data rather than state-level figures. Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth are designated as separate wage regions, and employers must certify they're paying at least the prevailing wage for client partner roles in whichever metro the position is based. Texas's strong university pipeline, particularly from UT Austin and Texas A&M, also means competition for client partner roles is high.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored client partner jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
