Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor E-3 visas in Texas?
Large distributors and wholesale operators with significant Texas footprints, including companies in food service distribution, industrial supply, and consumer goods wholesale, have filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation roles. Companies headquartered or operating major distribution hubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Houston tend to have established sponsorship infrastructure, meaning dedicated HR processes for handling E-3 visa filings for qualified candidates.
Which cities in Texas have the most distribution and wholesale E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads Texas for distribution and wholesale E-3 opportunities, driven by its central geographic position and concentration of national distribution headquarters. Houston is a close second, particularly for companies tied to import-export and energy-sector supply chains. San Antonio and Austin are growing markets, with logistics and wholesale operations expanding alongside those cities' broader economic development. All four metros have international airports and intermodal freight infrastructure that attract large employers.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that qualify for E-3 sponsorship are specialty occupations requiring at least a U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent in a directly related field. In distribution and wholesale, this commonly includes supply chain analysts, demand planning managers, logistics operations managers, procurement specialists, and trade compliance analysts. General warehouse, forklift, or non-degree operational roles do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for E-3 eligibility under USCIS guidelines.
How do I find distribution and wholesale E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for E-3 visa sponsorship roles and filters listings by visa type, industry, and state. You can search distribution and wholesale jobs in Texas directly, with employer LCA filing history surfaced so you can see which companies have actively sponsored E-3 workers. This removes the guesswork of approaching employers who have no E-3 experience and helps you focus on verified sponsoring companies.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in distribution and wholesale?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons when evaluating offers. The state's size also means that a role listed in Texas could be based anywhere from El Paso to Beaumont, so confirming the worksite location matters for your prevailing wage determination, which is calculated at the metropolitan statistical area level by the DOL. Employers filing an LCA must meet the prevailing wage for the specific city or region where you will actually work, not a statewide average.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 distribution & wholesale jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
