This position will also serve as a key client-facing representative on behalf of NorthStar Energy Services leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide cross-portfolio oversight of construction execution, safety performance, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control across active projects
- Serve as a senior escalation point for project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field leadership teams
- Conduct routine site visits, construction reviews, and operational audits to identify execution risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Support field leadership development by mentoring superintendents and reinforcing NorthStar operational standards and expectations
- Partner with project controls, procurement, engineering, pre-construction, and operations teams to support coordinated project execution
- Ensure field execution aligns with design intent, contractual requirements, project schedules, and client expectations
- Support labor planning, equipment forecasting, work sequencing, and resource allocation across multiple projects
- Represent NorthStar Energy Services in front of clients, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining strong working relationships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned reviews, and operational consistency across the construction portfolio
- Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement, field presence, and support of company safety expectations and procedures
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 10+ years of experience in industrial, energy, or infrastructure construction environments with 5+ years in a project management, construction management, or operational leadership capacity
- Strong background managing mechanical and piping scopes including process piping, large-bore piping, equipment setting, hydrotesting, and mechanical completions
- Demonstrated success overseeing multiple concurrent construction projects with responsibility for execution, schedule performance, resource coordination, and cost management
- Working knowledge of civil construction scopes including foundations, underground utilities, grading, and sitework sufficient to support field teams and challenge execution strategies
- Proven ability to partner effectively with project managers, superintendents, engineering, project controls, procurement, and clients in fast-paced project environments
- Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling, project controls, forecasting, and operational reporting
- Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling and cost-control platforms preferred
- Ability to identify execution risks early, support problem resolution, and drive accountability across multiple project teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build credibility across both field and client organizations
- Ability to travel extensively to active project sites as required
WHAT YOU'LL GET:
As a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.
- 401(k) with immediate matching and vesting
- Fully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision
- Your choice of PPO, HSA, FSA

Which technology companies sponsor Green Card visas in Texas?
Several large technology employers in Texas have established Green Card sponsorship programs, including Dell Technologies and NXP Semiconductors in Austin, Texas Instruments and AT&T in Dallas, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Houston. Hyperscale cloud providers like Amazon and Microsoft also maintain significant Texas workforces with active sponsorship. Sponsorship availability varies by role, team, and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with the employer is important.
Which cities in Texas have the most technology Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Austin leads the state for technology Green Card sponsorship jobs, anchored by a dense cluster of semiconductor, software, and cloud computing employers. Dallas-Fort Worth is a close second, with strong demand in telecommunications, financial technology, and enterprise software. Houston adds sponsorship opportunities in energy technology and engineering software. San Antonio has a growing cybersecurity sector, partly driven by proximity to military and defense technology operations.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Texas?
Roles that most commonly attract Green Card sponsorship in Texas technology include software engineers, hardware engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, network architects, and cybersecurity analysts. Semiconductor design and embedded systems roles are particularly prominent given Texas's chip manufacturing presence. Positions requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific technical field are generally the strongest candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residency petitions.
How do I find technology Green Card sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by Texas, by Green Card sponsorship, and by technology industry to see roles where employers have demonstrated willingness to sponsor permanent residency. Because Green Card sponsorship intent isn't always listed on general job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that specializes in visa-sponsored roles saves significant time and reduces guesswork for international candidates.
Are there any state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in the Texas technology sector?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects overall compensation structuring but does not change the federal Green Card sponsorship process itself. The PERM labor certification process, I-140 petition, and priority date backlogs apply uniformly regardless of state. However, Texas's high concentration of large technology employers means many have in-house immigration teams, which can make the sponsorship process more structured and predictable compared to smaller companies without dedicated immigration support.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card technology jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
