Search Supply Chain Associate Jobs in TexasSupply Chain Associate Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for supply chain associates in Texas?
Large multinationals with significant Texas operations are the most consistent sponsors for supply chain associate roles. Amazon's fulfillment and logistics network across DFW and Houston, ExxonMobil and Chevron Phillips Chemical in the Houston area, Toyota's North American headquarters in Plano, and Dell Technologies in Round Rock have all filed Labor Condition Applications for supply chain and operations roles. Fortune 500 retailers and third-party logistics providers headquartered in Texas also sponsor regularly.
Which visa types are most common for supply chain associate roles in Texas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for supply chain associates in Texas, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or a related field. The role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the degree requirement must be specific rather than general. F-1 graduates with STEM OPT may also work for up to three years before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship, provided the employer files in time.
Which cities in Texas have the most supply chain associate sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state, driven by its concentration of logistics hubs, corporate headquarters, and distribution centers. Houston is the second-largest market, anchored by energy, petrochemical, and port-related supply chain operations at the Port of Houston. San Antonio has a growing manufacturing and defense supply chain sector, and Austin's expanding tech industry has created demand for supply chain associates supporting hardware and semiconductor operations.
How to find supply chain associate visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, and filters supply chain associate roles by state so you can browse Texas-based openings from employers with active sponsorship programs. Beyond searching Migrate Mate, focus your applications on companies with established H-1B filing histories in Texas, particularly in logistics, energy, and manufacturing sectors, where sponsorship infrastructure is already in place and hiring managers are familiar with the process.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for supply chain associate visa sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects the prevailing wage analysis employers conduct when filing a Labor Condition Application, but the DOL determines prevailing wages at the metropolitan level regardless. The state's concentration of STEM-focused universities, including Texas A&M, UT Austin, and the University of Houston, creates strong local pipelines that employers rely on, meaning international candidates from those programs often have an advantage when applying to Texas-based supply chain roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored supply chain associate jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
