Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for compliance program managers?
Financial institutions and healthcare organizations in Utah are among the more consistent sponsors for compliance program managers. Goldman Sachs has a Salt Lake City office with compliance functions, and Intermountain Health regularly hires for regulatory and compliance roles. Technology companies with Utah operations, including Adobe and Qualtrics, also sponsor compliance professionals when candidates bring specialized regulatory expertise.
Which visa types are most common for compliance program managers in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for compliance program managers in Utah, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as law, finance, or business. Candidates with advanced credentials sometimes qualify for the O-1A. Foreign nationals from Australia may pursue the E-3, and Canadian and Mexican professionals may qualify under the TN visa for certain compliance-adjacent classifications.
How to find compliance program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters compliance program manager roles in Utah specifically by visa sponsorship history, saving you from sorting through employers unlikely to sponsor. Because compliance is a specialized function, targeting employers in regulated industries, including financial services, healthcare, and technology, improves your chances considerably. Searching Migrate Mate for Utah compliance roles lets you focus outreach on companies with demonstrated sponsorship track records in this state.
Which cities in Utah have the most compliance program manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the majority of compliance program manager sponsorship activity in Utah, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems, and technology companies. South Jordan and Sandy host several financial back-office operations that include compliance functions. Provo's tech hub adds additional opportunities, particularly for compliance roles within software and SaaS companies operating in regulated markets.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for compliance program manager sponsorship?
Utah's compliance hiring is heavily shaped by its financial services sector, which is subject to federal regulatory oversight from agencies including the SEC and FDIC, creating consistent demand for experienced compliance managers. The University of Utah and Brigham Young University supply domestic candidates, which means international applicants benefit most from bringing specialized expertise, such as anti-money laundering certification, healthcare compliance credentials, or experience with specific regulatory frameworks.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored compliance program manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
