Which companies sponsor visas for data management analysts in Utah?
Utah employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity in data and analytics roles include Adobe, Qualtrics, Pluralsight, Entrata, and Intermountain Health. Large financial institutions operating in Salt Lake City, including Goldman Sachs and American Express, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for data-related positions. Sponsorship activity is most consistent at mid-to-large employers with established HR and legal infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for data management analyst roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data management analysts in Utah, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, or statistics. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization are also commonly employed in these roles while transitioning to H-1B status.
Which cities in Utah have the most data management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City accounts for the largest share of data management analyst sponsorship activity in Utah, driven by its concentration of fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise software employers. Provo and Lehi, sometimes called the Silicon Slopes corridor, host a growing number of mid-size technology companies that hire for data roles. Ogden also sees occasional openings tied to logistics and government-adjacent contractors.
How to find data management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have demonstrated visa sponsorship willingness, including data management analyst positions in Utah. Rather than sorting through general postings, you can use Migrate Mate to focus on Utah-based employers in tech, healthcare, and finance who are actively hiring internationally. This saves significant time for candidates on OPT, H-1B, or other work authorization who need confirmed sponsorship.
Are there state-specific considerations for data management analysts seeking sponsorship in Utah?
Utah's Silicon Slopes corridor has produced a dense pipeline of data talent through the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, which means employer familiarity with international graduate hiring is relatively high. Employers filing H-1B petitions must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the role and location, which is determined by the specific job duties and the Salt Lake City or Provo metropolitan area wage data rather than a national average.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data management analyst jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
