Which companies sponsor visas for data management analysts in Colorado?
Large employers with established sponsorship programs in Colorado include Lockheed Martin, DXC Technology, Trimble, Ball Corporation, and Centura Health. Denver-based financial services firms and healthcare networks have also filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for data management roles. Companies with dedicated immigration legal teams are generally more consistent sponsors than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for data management analyst roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data management analysts in Colorado, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying credentials. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT authorization can begin work while an H-1B petition is pending.
Which cities in Colorado have the most data management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of data management analyst sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of healthcare systems, energy companies, and financial services firms. Boulder adds opportunities through its data and analytics startup community. Colorado Springs has a meaningful base of defense and government contracting employers, including several that file H-1B petitions for data-focused positions.
How to find data management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to browse data management analyst openings in Colorado without sifting through roles that won't support international candidates. You can filter by location and role type to surface employers in Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs who have a documented history of H-1B and other sponsorship filings for data management positions.
Are there state-specific factors that affect data management analyst sponsorship in Colorado?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to post compensation ranges in job listings, which gives international candidates useful context when evaluating whether a role meets H-1B prevailing wage requirements. The state's strong university pipeline from CU Boulder and Colorado State University in data and information science fields means employers are accustomed to hiring early-career candidates who may need OPT or H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data management analyst jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
