Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
- Proven experience in truck driving with knowledge of DOT regulations
- Capability to read and interpret maps and GPS navigation systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with transportation management software
- Familiarity with safety and compliance audits
- Previous experience in long-haul or regional trucking
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport equipment to designated locations
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies to ensure safety and legal operation of vehicles
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes by reading maps and using GPS technology to meet delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues promptly
- Coordinate with the service team personnel to load and unload cargo properly and maintain accurate delivery documentation
