- Contribute to system implementation and technology roadmap activities such as requirements gathering, data migration planning, user acceptance testing, go-live readiness, and research on emerging HR tech trends like talent intelligence, skills ontologies, people analytics, and employee experience platforms.
- Map and analyze end-to-end HR processes (hire-to-retire, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development) to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and automation opportunities using process mining and workflow analysis.
- Develop process redesign recommendations leveraging automation, AI-driven workflows, and self-service capabilities to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
Delivery & Client Engagement Support
- Prepare high-quality deliverables including presentations, reports, data analyses, and workshop materials under the direction of senior consultants and engagement managers.
- Participate in client workshops, interviews, and working sessions, capturing key findings and translating them into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage workstream-level project plans, track milestones, and escalate risks and issues proactively to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Contribute to internal knowledge management by documenting methodologies, case studies, and reusable frameworks.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in management consulting, HR advisory, HR operations, or a corporate HR transformation/strategy role
- Foundational understanding of HR functional areas including talent acquisition, total rewards, learning & development, workforce planning, and HR operations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support evidence-based recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise deliverables for executive audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based, fast-paced project environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines

Which companies sponsor visas for strategy consultants in Washington?
Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, and Accenture are among the most active H-1B sponsors for strategy consultant roles in Washington. Global consulting firms including McKinsey, Deloitte, and PwC also maintain Seattle-area offices and have documented sponsorship histories. Technology companies headquartered in the Puget Sound region frequently hire strategy consultants and have established visa sponsorship infrastructure in place.
Which visa types are most common for strategy consultant roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa for strategy consultants in Washington, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Australians may also pursue the E-3 visa through the same employer petition process. Senior consultants with multinational firm experience sometimes qualify for L-1A intracompany transferee status.
How to find strategy consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify strategy consultant openings in Washington without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can narrow results to Washington state and strategy consultant roles in one search. Given that sponsorship willingness varies widely even among large firms, using a sponsorship-focused platform like Migrate Mate saves significant time during your search.
Which cities in Washington have the most strategy consultant sponsorship jobs?
Seattle accounts for the majority of strategy consultant sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its concentration of technology companies, management consulting offices, and healthcare systems like Providence and UW Medicine. Bellevue is a close second, particularly for roles tied to Microsoft and other Eastside technology employers. Redmond and Kirkland also see periodic openings through large tech campuses operating there.
Are there any state-specific considerations for strategy consultants seeking visa sponsorship in Washington?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since the Department of Labor's wage benchmarks are set at the federal level regardless of state tax treatment. The University of Washington and Washington State University produce MBA and economics graduates who compete for the same roles, so employer pipelines often favor candidates with regional academic or professional networks. Technology sector demand in Washington also means strategy consultant roles frequently require familiarity with product-led or platform business models.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy consultant jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
