Which companies sponsor visas for account operations managers in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories in operations and account management functions include Fiserv, Northwestern Mutual, Kohl's, Epic Systems, and American Family Insurance. Manufacturing firms like Oshkosh Corporation and Rockwell Automation also hire in operations roles. Sponsorship availability varies by hiring cycle and specific business need, so confirming with each employer directly is important.
Which visa types are most common for account operations manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for account operations managers in Wisconsin, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, finance, or operations management. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may explore the TN visa under the USMCA, and those with extraordinary ability may consider the O-1 visa.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most account operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's primary hub for account operations manager roles, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and professional services firms. Madison follows closely, with technology employers like Epic Systems and a growing startup sector. Green Bay and Appleton have opportunities tied to manufacturing and logistics operations, though sponsorship frequency is lower outside Milwaukee and Madison.
How to find account operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse account operations manager openings in Wisconsin without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and job function to focus on Wisconsin employers actively hiring for this role. Checking listings regularly is worthwhile, as operations roles with sponsorship move quickly.
Are there any state-specific considerations for account operations managers seeking sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are determined by the Department of Labor using regional wage data for the Milwaukee, Madison, and other metro areas, so compensation offers should reflect local benchmarks for operations management roles. Wisconsin also has a strong university pipeline through UW-Madison and Marquette University, meaning some employers are experienced with international hiring from OPT and CPT programs before pursuing H-1B sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account operations manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
