Search Data Management Analyst Jobs in WisconsinData Management Analyst Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for data management analysts in Wisconsin?
Northwestern Mutual, American Family Insurance, Epic Systems, Fiserv, and Advocate Aurora Health are among the Wisconsin employers with documented H-1B sponsorship activity for data-related roles. These organizations operate large data and analytics teams, making them the most consistent sources of sponsorship for data management analyst positions in the state. DOL LCA disclosure data can confirm recent filings by employer name.
Which visa types are most common for data management analyst roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for data management analysts in Wisconsin, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT may also find Wisconsin employers willing to support the H-1B transition. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analytical roles.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most data management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee accounts for the largest share of data management analyst sponsorship activity in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of financial services and insurance employers. Madison follows, with demand tied to Epic Systems, the University of Wisconsin system, and state government technology initiatives. Green Bay has a smaller but present market, particularly in healthcare and logistics organizations with growing data infrastructure needs.
How to find data management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles with visa sponsorship, making it easier to identify data management analyst openings in Wisconsin without sorting through positions that exclude international candidates. You can search by role and state to surface active listings from employers with sponsorship history in sectors like insurance, healthcare IT, and financial technology, which are the primary hiring industries in Wisconsin for this role.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for data management analyst visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin employers filing H-1B petitions for data management analysts must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements for the Milwaukee or Madison metropolitan areas, which vary from rural Wisconsin wages. The University of Wisconsin system and Marquette University produce a consistent pipeline of domestic and international data talent, meaning competition for sponsored roles can be meaningful at established employers. Roles tied to Epic Systems in Verona often attract candidates from the health informatics field specifically.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored data management analyst jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
