Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for product analysts?
Milwaukee-based employers are among the most active sponsors for product analyst roles in Wisconsin. Northwestern Mutual, Fiserv, and American Family Insurance have established H-1B visa sponsorship histories in data and analytics functions. Epic Systems in Verona and Exact Sciences in Madison also hire product analysts and have sponsored international candidates. Large financial services and health tech firms tend to have dedicated immigration support teams, making them more accessible for sponsored roles.
What visa types are most common for product analyst roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for product analyst positions in Wisconsin, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, computer science, or business analytics. Candidates already on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT extension can work for a sponsoring employer before the H-1B petition is filed. Those with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may also explore the TN visa under the economist or management consultant category, depending on how the role is defined.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most product analyst sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is the primary market for product analyst sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin, driven by its concentration of financial services, insurance, and fintech employers. Madison is the second most active city, supported by the University of Wisconsin's talent pipeline and a growing technology and health informatics sector. Green Bay and Waukesha have smaller but present markets, primarily through regional healthcare systems and manufacturing firms that have added analytics functions in recent years.
How to find product analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters product analyst roles in Wisconsin by visa sponsorship availability, saving you the time of manually checking each employer's immigration history. You can browse current openings, see which Wisconsin employers have sponsored H-1B petitions before, and filter by location including Milwaukee and Madison. This is more efficient than general job boards, which rarely surface sponsorship status upfront for product analyst positions.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for product analysts seeking visa sponsorship?
Wisconsin's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B petitions are determined by the Department of Labor based on the specific metropolitan area, so Milwaukee, Madison, and smaller markets will have different wage level thresholds for the same product analyst title. Employers in Wisconsin's insurance and financial services industries are generally familiar with H-1B processes due to the volume of specialized roles they fill. The University of Wisconsin system also produces a steady pipeline of international graduates in data science and business analytics, which has encouraged more mid-sized Wisconsin employers to develop sponsorship programs over time.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product analyst jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
