We are seeking individual who is highly organized and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support our property management team in overseeing rental properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and excellent customer service abilities ensuring the efficient functioning of property leasing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with relevant regulations such as LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing activities, rent collection, and tenant communications
- Support property marketing efforts through upselling available units and promoting amenities
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution by working with contractors
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents using property management software
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 guidelines
- Conduct tenant screenings and assist with lease signings while adhering to legal administrative procedures
- Manage conflict resolution between tenants or vendors with professionalism and effective conflict management skills
- Support legal administrative tasks related to contracts, notices, and legal documentation
- Provide excellent customer service via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions to foster positive tenant relationships
