This is a Partner-level role within our Hi-Tech Consulting practice. Based in California, the Hi-Tech Consulting Leader will grow the US consulting business across strategic accounts, create new areas of profitable growth, and position Wipro as a trusted transformation partner to C-suite executives. The leader will combine the three dimensions of a high-impact Consulting Practitioner and Leader: creating differentiated client value, operating and growing the consulting business, and developing the next generation of consulting talent.

The Three Dimensions of Consulting Leadership

• Client Value Creator: Build trusted C-suite relationships; frame mission-critical business problems; shape AI-enabled transformation agendas; connect strategy to executable roadmaps; establish value hypotheses and success measures; and deliver measurable, sustainable client outcomes.
• Business Operator: Own the consulting business plan and operating rhythm across pipeline, bookings, revenue, margin, utilization, delivery quality, talent capacity, investments, and risk. Convert executive relationships into large, profitable, and referenceable engagements, while mobilizing One Wipro across consulting, engineering, and operations.
• People Developer: Attract, inspire, and retain diverse talent; coach senior consultants and emerging leaders through apprenticeship, feedback, and stretch roles; build role-relevant capabilities; strengthen succession; and hold teams accountable for quality, commercial ownership, and client impact.

This role will lead the growth agenda, provide thought leadership, and act as a trusted advisor across business development, transformation, and delivery. Success requires balanced leadership as a Client Value Creator, Business Operator, and People Developer, with explicit accountability for client outcomes, profitable growth, delivery quality, and talent development.

Transformation and Functional Scope:

• AI, Data and Cloud Platform Transformation, including enterprise AI strategy, agentic and generative AI adoption, data foundations, responsible AI, AI operating models, and value realization.
• Sales Operations and Revenue Transformation, including coverage, capacity, pipeline, forecasting, deal governance, sales productivity, channel operations, and commercial analytics.
• MarTech and B2B Growth, including marketing operations, demand generation, customer and partner journeys, marketing technology, account-based growth, and sales-marketing alignment.
• Supply Chain and Operations, including planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, order management, control towers, resilience, and AI-enabled autonomous operations.
• Software, Platform and Product Engineering, including product operating models, R&D transformation, SaaS, cloud-native engineering, quality engineering, and engineering productivity.
• Semiconductor, Silicon and Hardware Engineering, including portfolio and product lifecycle transformation, engineering operations, and ecosystem collaboration.
• Intelligent Devices, Edge and Connected Products, including platform strategy, monetization, service models, and connected-customer experiences.

This role is also expected to create pull-through opportunities across Supply Chain and Operations, Sales and Marketing, Technology Strategy, People and Change, Finance Transformation, and Sustainability, while building repeatable industry propositions and integrated One Wipro solutions.

Experience Profile

• Extensive experience leading and growing consulting businesses in the US Hi-Tech sector.
• Strong network and market credibility, particularly in California and the broader US market.
• Demonstrated success selling and delivering large, complex transformation programs.
• Expertise in one or more areas such as Sales Operations, MarTech, Supply Chain, Product/R&D Transformation, Platform Engineering, or Technology Strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen across revenue, margin, investment, and risk management.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Contribution to Practice/Wipro

• Continually delivers all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals expenses, etc.). Owns and drives a system to manage internal initiatives to the benefit of the practice. Evangelizes the importance of innovation and IP creation.
• Holds people accountable for leveraging IP and knowledge assets from the central knowledge repository of Wipro and GCG and promotes reuse.
• Ensures the practice engagement teams effectively contribute tools, methods and assets, information sources, and IP to the knowledge management platform. Encourages the team to create and share IP, PoV/White papers, represents the company at strategic industry and analyst conferences.
• Ensures the practice has market relevant capabilities and service offerings, ensures a recruitment service pipeline to support future business and new capabilities and service offerings. Builds active partnerships including, but not limited to solution providers, alliance partners, and analysts.
• Participates in industry solution related networks, serves on a committee, presents papers, etc. Manages team targets and goals in line with practice plan.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00 to $325,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
