What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a front-end loader to safely and efficiently feed the crushing plant and load trucks, while reporting directly to the Production Supervisor or Plant Management.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections, perform routine maintenance, and promptly report equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure roads and berms meet or exceed MSHA standards.
- Support general pit maintenance activities, including grading, dust control, and drainage.
- Ensure all pit operations comply with company safety policies and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs, pit conditions, and equipment performance.
- Assist in training and mentoring new pit loader operators to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
