We are partnered with an organization seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst with an emphasis on experience in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) to support and enhance their financial planning and reporting environment. This role will partner closely with Finance and IT to maintain models, improve processes, and drive system optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration and maintenance of TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics applications
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system enhancements
- Design, build, and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and feeders
- Manage data integrations between TM1 and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouse, etc.)
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles, ensuring system performance and data accuracy
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing activities
- Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency across finance operations
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and controls
Qualifications
- 2–6+ years of experience working with TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Hands-on experience with TM1 development (rules, TI processes, cube design)
- Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and/or Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX)
- Familiarity with data integration concepts and tools
- Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
