Job Summary:

The Management Consulting (MC) Experienced Senior Associate is part of a MC team, and supports projects across multiple service lines. This position works at a variety of clients and locations supporting communication, culture, and change management aligned with strategy and growth, back-office transformation, and mergers and acquisitions.

The Experienced Senior Associate is experienced in change management principles and methodologies, has a diverse background, and is able to support a variety of MC type activities. This role supports the engagement team, ensuring high quality deliverables are completed per the project schedule, and interacting with clients to understand and support their needs. While this position does not have supervisory responsibility, it collaborates with and influences others in order to succeed and demonstrates influential leadership for executing communication, training, and change management activities per the master project engagement schedule.

The Experienced Senior Associate is responsible for working with clients to apply structured methodology to support projects and engagements across multiple service lines. This role has the ability to conduct assessments to determine improvement strategies and to draft and execute communication and culture implementation plans, including but not limited to, culture and organizational change, business strategies, finance and back-office transformations, organizational change, strategy creation and execution, finance and back-office transformations, and mergers and acquisitions. The Experienced Senior Associate communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels of client organizations.

Job Duties:

• Assesses communication, training, and culture change needs for clients, and supports the management creation of implementation plans to improve effectiveness in each area
• Completes assigned tasks per the project schedule
• Conducts interviews and data analysis of client data
• Coordinates and efficiently manage documentation, notes, and data
• Prepares and delivers materials to the project team and to the clients, as appropriate
• Creates quick high-quality deliverables aligned with the BDO professional standards
• Supports team collaboration efforts to enhance and improve presentation materials for clients
• Updates project metrics and supports the team with reminders of key deadlines per the project schedule
• Supports and produces deliverables such as graphics, notes, reports, etc. and assist with plans and strategies. Deliverables will be built collaboratively with high attention to detail and professional presentation quality.
• Applies concepts such as organizational hierarchy, strategic goals setting and execution, data management, workflow standardization, process mapping, return on investment, and value proposition.
• Travels domestically as needed (25-50%)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, required; focus in Management, Business, Finance, or Psychology related discipline, preferred

Experience:

• Three (3) or more years of experience in at least one (1) of the following disciplines, required:
• Management/Business Strategy Consulting
• Project Management/Organizational Change Management
• Business Analysis/Business Process Improvement
• Multiple, successful experiences in at least one (1) of the following services, preferred:
• M&A Integration
• Business Transformation
• Finance Transformation
• Technology Implementation / Optimization
• Other large-scale organizational change
• General understanding of different methodologies for implementing improvement projects, such as Plan, Do, Check, Act, LEAN manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodology, preferred
• Experience in change management programs, preferred
• Management consulting experience, preferred

License/Certifications:

• Prosci, CCMP, or other change management certification, preferred

Software:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
• Smartsheet experience, preferred

• Capable of supporting multiple projects concurrently and understanding the nature and potential impact of change.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, active listening, and customer relationship skills
• Ability to identify barriers and roadblocks and escalate appropriately
• Capable of presenting information aligned to audience needs
• Ability to research, benchmark, and identify best practices
• Capable of working in a deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task both working independently or within a group environment
• Capable of working remotely with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure while dealing with unexpected problems in a professional manner

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range:

$75,000 - $120,000

Maryland Range:

$75,000 - $120,000

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range:

$75,000 - $120,000
