Which companies sponsor visas for senior consultants in Florida?
The most active sponsors for senior consultant roles in Florida include the Big Four accounting and advisory firms, Deloitte, PwC, Ernst and Young, and KPMG, alongside global management consultancies like Accenture and IBM Consulting. Healthcare-focused consulting firms operating near major hospital systems in Tampa and Orlando also regularly sponsor senior consultants with specialized domain expertise.
Which visa types are most common for senior consultant roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for senior consultants in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or information systems. Australians may also pursue the E-3 visa. Candidates with multinational employer histories sometimes transfer on an L-1A or L-1B intracompany visa.
Which cities in Florida have the most senior consultant sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads in senior consultant sponsorship activity, particularly in financial services, international trade advisory, and technology consulting driven by its position as a Latin American business hub. Tampa is strong in healthcare IT and professional services consulting. Orlando attracts senior consultants in hospitality technology and defense-adjacent advisory work, reflecting its industry mix.
How to find senior consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify senior consultant roles in Florida where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor. You can narrow results by city, firm type, and role level to focus on positions that match your background, rather than sorting through postings that do not address sponsorship at all.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for senior consultant visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since DOL wage benchmarks are set at the federal level and do not account for this benefit. Senior consultants in Miami should be aware that multilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are often preferred by firms serving Latin American clients, which can strengthen a sponsorship case when documented in the role's requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored senior consultant jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
