Accounting Associate Jobs in Dallas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a accounting associate job in Dallas?
Focus your search on Dallas's financial services corridor along the Tollway, the large healthcare systems based in the Medical District, and the corporate headquarters concentrated in Las Colinas and Uptown. Candidates with experience in accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, or ERP systems like SAP or Oracle stand out in this market. Networking through local accounting chapters and applying directly to Dallas-based employers accelerates results.
Which companies hire accounting associates in Dallas?
Dallas accounting associate roles are posted by Cotality, Baker Tilly Canada, and Standish Management and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Dallas's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional banks, and large healthcare networks means openings appear across both large corporate finance departments and mid-size firms with in-house accounting teams.
Are there remote accounting associate jobs in Dallas?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type, with analytical and reporting-focused positions more likely to offer flexibility than those tied to on-site invoice processing or cash handling. About 50% of accounting associate openings tied to Dallas are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting broader adoption among corporate headquarters in Uptown and Las Colinas. Month-end close support roles tend to require the most in-office presence.
How can I get a accounting associate job in Dallas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Dallas is targeting accounts payable or accounts receivable coordinator roles at mid-size companies in Irving, Addison, or the Stemmons Corridor, where turnover creates consistent openings for candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting. Dallas-area staffing firms that specialize in finance placements regularly place entry-level candidates on contract-to-hire assignments, which build real general ledger experience quickly. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with any major ERP system gives candidates a measurable edge at the interview stage.
Which industries hire the most accounting associates in Dallas?
