Treasury Operations Analyst Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a treasury operations analyst in Texas?
Most treasury operations analysts in Texas start with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, which is the baseline expectation at Texas employers from regional banks to large energy companies. The role has no state-issued license, but earning the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals gives candidates a measurable edge. Many Texas hires begin in accounts payable, bank reconciliation, or financial analyst roles before moving into dedicated treasury operations positions.
How much do treasury operations analysts make in Texas?
Treasury operations analysts in Texas earn a median of about $71,650 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $42,380 for the lowest 10% to over $118,730 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire treasury operations analysts in Texas?
Employers hiring treasury operations analysts in Texas right now include Jobot, WM, and Celanese, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, major regional banks, and large energy and healthcare organizations means the pipeline of corporate treasury openings remains broad across multiple industries year-round.
Which Texas cities have the most treasury operations analyst jobs?
Houston, Fort Worth, and Dallas account for the largest share of treasury operations analyst openings in Texas. Houston's role as a global energy and petrochemical hub drives high volume there, while Dallas benefits from its dense concentration of corporate headquarters and regional financial institutions, and Austin's expanding technology and venture-backed company base has added steadily to demand for cash and liquidity management talent.
Are there remote treasury operations analyst jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than many finance roles, since treasury operations work is largely desk-based and system-driven. About 75% of treasury operations analyst openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the analytical and platform-centered nature of the work. Tasks such as cash forecasting, bank reconciliation, and treasury system administration translate well to remote arrangements, while wire approval workflows and bank relationship management are more often kept on-site.
How can I get hired as a treasury operations analyst in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an accounts payable, staff accountant, or financial analyst role at a Texas company, then transitioning internally once you have exposure to bank portals and cash reconciliation. Large Texas employers in energy, healthcare, and banking regularly hire recent graduates into rotational finance programs that include a treasury operations component. Earning the Certified Treasury Professional associate-level credential while in an entry role signals commitment and accelerates the move into a dedicated treasury analyst position.
