Experience with Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum is a major plus and is strongly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices, verify supporting documentation and approvals, and assign the correct job and cost codes.
- Prepare payments, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and project staff.
- Assist with construction progress billings and supporting documents.
- Record incoming payments, maintain accurate receivable balances, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Track retention, maintain AP and AR aging reports, and assist with lien releases and payment documentation.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized accounting records and coordinate with project managers to keep job costs and billing accurate.
Qualifications
- Experience with Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum strongly preferred.
- Construction accounting experience, including job costing, progress billing, and retention, is a plus.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and account reconciliation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
