Working at Citi is far more than just a job. A career with us means joining a team of approximately 219,000 dedicated people from around the globe. At Citi, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your career, give back to your community and make a real impact.
Job Overview
Are you ready to define the future of data in global financial services? As Vice President, Product Management — AI & Intelligent Data Platforms at Citi, you will lead the strategy and delivery of a next-generation, AI-first data platform within Investor Services, shaping how asset managers, pension funds, and financial intermediaries access and consume data at scale. Sitting within the Data & Client Platform team in Tampa, this is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product strategy, cloud technology, and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities:
- Define and champion the product vision for an autonomous, self-service data platform, translating market opportunities and competitive analysis into a prioritized roadmap that aligns with Investor Services' strategic goals.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from market analysis and requirements gathering through go-to-market execution, launch, and continuous iteration — establishing feedback mechanisms that drive sustained product-market fit.
- Champion the application of AI and ML to automate Funds and Custody data operations — including ingestion, reconciliation, and validation — reducing manual intervention and building a resilient, low-touch platform environment.
- Define requirements for AI-powered client and developer tools, such as data discovery copilots and support chatbots, to accelerate time-to-value and elevate the end-user experience.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing to deliver a cohesive, market-leading product experience, cultivating an AI-first, product-led culture across cross-functional teams.
- Leverage AI-generated insights into client behavior and data demand patterns to shape data productization strategies and articulate clear value propositions for new platform offerings.
Qualifications:
- 10–15+ years in product management with a demonstrated history of launching and scaling technical, data-intensive products from concept through to market adoption.
- Deep expertise in modern data architecture in Funds and Custody domains, including cloud platforms such as Snowflake and AWS, streaming technologies, and API-first design principles.
- Practical knowledge of how AI and ML are applied to solve business problems, particularly in the areas of automation, anomaly detection, and demand forecasting.
- Proven ability to define and communicate product strategy and roadmaps, balancing long-term platform ambitions with near-term delivery commitments across large, cross-functional organizations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic narratives for both executive and technical audiences.
- Experience driving significant organizational change through influence, leading teams across engineering, data science, and commercial functions without direct line authority.
What we offer:
This role offers the scope and platform to make a genuine impact — both on the evolution of data products within global financial services and on your own career trajectory. Based in Tampa with a hybrid working model, you will have access to a competitive rewards package and a range of benefits designed to support your professional and personal priorities.
- Competitive base salary, reviewed annually to reflect your contribution and growth.
- Discretionary annual performance-related bonus.
- Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week.
- Generous paid time off starting at 27 days plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure.
- Private medical insurance packages tailored to your personal circumstances.
- Pension plan to support your long-term financial wellbeing.
- Paid parental leave to support you during key life moments.
- Employee Assistance Program offering confidential support across a range of personal and professional matters.
- Special discounts for employees, family, and friends.
- Access to a broad portfolio of learning and development resources to accelerate your growth in both technical and leadership directions.
- Career development opportunities across Citi's global network, with daily exposure to complex, high-stakes challenges that build lasting expertise in financial services technology
