Candidates build credibility through cloud certifications from AWS, Microsoft, or Google, along with a demonstrable portfolio of deployed AI projects. Delaware's concentration of financial and life sciences employers means experience in regulated-industry AI applications carries particular weight in local hiring.
How much do AI solutions engineers make in Delaware?
AI solutions engineers in Delaware earn a median of about $133,020 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $96,620 for the lowest 10% to over $174,390 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire ai solutions engineers in Delaware?
Delaware ai solutions engineer roles are posted by JPMorganChase, CVS Health, and PNC Financial Services and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Which Delaware cities have the most ai solutions engineer jobs?
Wilmington, Delaware, and Newark account for the largest share of ai solutions engineer openings in Delaware. Wilmington dominates because it is home to the headquarters and major operations of large financial institutions and corporate holding companies, while Newark benefits from proximity to the University of Delaware and the technology firms that cluster around it, and Dover draws demand from state government technology modernization and regional healthcare systems.

Building a portfolio of end-to-end AI projects using public datasets and earning a recognized cloud certification strengthens an application significantly. Firms in Delaware's Wilmington financial corridor and the Newark technology cluster are the most consistent sources of entry-level AI engineering openings for candidates making a lateral move or starting fresh.
