The role is intended for someone who can challenge the current technology landscape, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide practical modernization roadmaps aligned with security and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the target enterprise architecture.
- Evaluate new technologies and architectural patterns for enterprise adoption.
- Provide clear migration and modernization roadmaps.
- Lead enterprise integration platform initiatives from architecture through delivery.
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategic technology decisions includes CIO and Other C level executives.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and third-party partners.
- Establish architecture standards and governance across enterprise applications.
- Recommend technology solutions that align with enterprise policies and long-term business objectives.
- Capable of justifying technology choices (Java vs .NET) based on enterprise standards, existing developer skill sets, maintainability, scalability, and security.
- Broad enterprise architecture expertise is more important than deep lending workflow knowledge.
- Seen as a go-to advisor for evaluating new technologies.
- Senior architect with a strong enterprise-wide technical perspective.
- Able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
